Enhanced Wear, Chemical & Abrasion Resistance
ARMOVEX TCX Top Coat is the fortified, high-performance finish coat of the Armovex floor system, designed to maximize durability, chemical resistance and surface protection. It is engineered to seal flake, color and broadcast systems and provide a tough, cleanable surface for residential, commercial and light industrial environments.
When combined with the ARMOVEX Booster additive, TCX delivers increased hardness, abrasion resistance and long-term wear performance while maintaining a smooth, professional finish. TCX is full self-leveling, flowing out into a smooth, even film, and is single-component with no A/B mixing.

Where to Use It

Surface Prep
- Install FSX Primer and BCX Base Coat per their instructions.
- On flake floors, let BCX dry, then scrape and vacuum all loose flake before top coating.
Application
- If using the ARMOVEX Booster additive, add 10% Booster to the amount of top coat you will apply from the bucket and mix thoroughly for 2 minutes.
- Apply TCX by spray, squeegee or roller at 150–200 sq ft per gallon.
- Clean tools with water.
TCX is usually dry to the touch in about 1 hour. It can take longer depending on film thickness, temperature and humidity. For questions about your jobsite conditions, contact Armovex technical support.
Where It Fits in the Armovex System
The Armovex floor system is single-component from start to finish: FSX Primer → BCX Base Coat (clear or pigmented, with optional flake broadcast) → TCX Top Coat. On slabs with moisture or contamination concerns, start with ARMOVEX DryLock. No grinding of properly cleaned concrete and no A/B mixing.
